Vocation Story: I had not practiced my faith much outside of mass on Christmas and Easter until my sophomore year in college. During my sophomore year, I rediscovered my faith and began reading Sacred Scripture, praying the Rosary and attending mass frequently. I also began to think occasionally about the priesthood at this time. I could not believe that God could be calling me to be a priest since I was almost half way done with my studies to be an engineer. I tried to shrug the idea of priesthood off, but it kept coming back stronger afterwards. After a year had passed, I finally contacted the vocations director, Fr. Walsh. He was extremely helpful in aiding me in my discernment process of whether or not I should take a look at becoming a priest more closely by entering the seminary. By the middle of my senior year at R.P.I., I noticed a great peace about the thought of the priesthood and entering the seminary. I began the application process, and have recently been accepted as a seminarian for the Diocese of Albany!
